Hair transplantation is the redistribuition of the hair from the back and sides of the patient´s head (donor area) to the balding or thinning areas. The follicles taken from these areas are resistant to the effects of testosterone and will continue to produce healthy hair throughout the patient´s life.

For over 40 years hair transplantation was a very rudimentary procedure, for some the only objective was moving hair from point A to point B in very limited quantities. Today´s hair transplantation procedure in the hands of TRANSPEL physicians is a work of art and a large staff of 8 to 12 expert technicians allow us to move as many as 10,000 hairs in a single session. TRANSPEL is one of the only a few clinics in North America capable of creating high density in targeted areas of baldness in only one session.

The following list contains a brief description of the carious techniques offered microTranspel the best in your case depends on the medical evaluation in our consultation centers.

Triple “S” technique
This type of extraction does not require a traditional incision, here only the skin or epidermis is scored, then the hair follicles are gently separated  without any risk of harm to them.  It is used in combination with the tricophytic  closure which produces hair growth within the resulting scar for better cosmesis.

One by one Technique ® (WAS)
Extraction is a "boom" with cutting sacabocado. Indicated only in small calvicies, for tthe filling of scars and in patients without risk of losing hair future. (Synonyms; Technique or WAS FIT, extration technique with pen).

Scalp Extender
A small elastic device is concealed and attached below the skin to the hair bearing scalp where it gently pulls over a determined period of time to create elasticity,  once removed the bald area can be surgically removed, bringing hair bearing borders of the parietal scalp together at the crown.  Ideal for class VII bald areas.

Tissue Expansion
A special kind latex ballon is surgically placed below the skin,  subsecuent expansion creates elasticity in the bald and or scarred skin.  The new elasticity in the surrounding tissue allow its removal for the correction of the bald area.  Ideal for accident or burn reconstruction cases.

TRANSPEL TECHNICAL PLANTED
Dense Packing technique
New instrumentation allow the creation of smaller orifices for the hair grafts which in turn allow us to create greater density in targeted areas.  There are no visible scars or dilated pores  in the recipient area.  Also, crusting in the post operatory phase is reduced to 4 to 7 days.
